I love me some European cuisine! We were in the area and were trying to find a place last minute for lunch, so this place popped up. This place is small and located next to Savers. Super cute spot with lots of Polish decor. So colorful and inviting. At first, it looked like this restaurant was closed because you can't see through the windows and door from the outside, and the sign was not lit. We walked in and it was packed and there was a line to order. When we arrived, it was not very organized. There was no hostess, one lady behind the counter taking orders, and another serving food. We were confused if we should take a table, then order, or order first, then take a table. We had to grab the server and asked. Someone made a reservation, and that party was confused with what was going on as well. Luckily, the party in front of us had to go orders, so we were able to get a table after the 1pm group reservation was seated. I would've given this place 5 starts if the restaurant was more organized as far as seating and serving patrons. Prices were reasonable. We ordered the 14 piece pierogi sampler. They all looked the same and I wish they were labeled, but they all tasted delicious nonetheless. Tastes great with a side of sour cream. We had apple pie with ice cream for dessert and that tasted amazing! Not too sweet and tasted homemade. I would get the apple pie every time I come here. They have a wonderful variety of pierogis, and other dishes such as soups, schnitzels, plates, sandwiches, sides, and desserts. I would love to try the soups and schnitzel next time.
Flavorful, fresh, and stuffed pierogis! I got the sample plate of 14 pierogis (7 flavors) and picked the following: - meat - meat, sauerkraut, and mushroom - potato & cheese with jalapeño sauce - meat and sauerkraut - sauerkraut and potato - spinach and feta - fruit All the pierogis were all excellent, very fresh and good texture, with my favorite being the ones with meat, especially the meat, sauerkraut, and mushroom one. I could eat an entire plate of just that one, but it was also nice to have a variety. My least favorite was the spinach and feta, as the feta flavor was a little strong for my taste. I really liked the jalapeño sauce that came with the potato one, it was actual quite spicy and I ended up using it with all the other pierogis. The fruit pierogi was also very good, one of the two that came with the sampler was filled with some sort of red berry and the other, some sort of dark berry, like a pie filling, topped with a cream cheese-type sauce. They weren't too sweet and was the perfect dessert. The cabbage rolls were also excellent, tender and stuffed full with a meat and rice mixture in a nice tomato broth and served with dill mashed potato. Service was very friendly, the employee helped us pick a few options. You order at the front and the food gets brought to your table. The restaurant is clean cutely decorated. They offer some unique imported bottled beers.
My husband noticed this spot driving by, and we finally made it here. We came for lunch and there were plenty of people, but not packed, thankfully. The inside looks like you walked into a Polish family's home - so warm, cute and cozy. The woman working there was so friendly and kind, and kept checking up on us. We ordered 14 pierogis - 2 of 7 diff flavors, all of them were savory, and all of them were soooo good - the duck, sauerkraut, potato/cheese/jalapeno, spinach/feta. I can't even choose. We got the sauerkraut salad, stuffed cabbage, Polish sausage sandwich, and ended with the apple pie. I can't stop raving about this place. I will come back and order everything listed here, but I want to go back and try everything else - borscht, pickle soup, mushroom open face sandwich, more pierogis!
Authentic Polish food made by Polish women! I get to order in Polish here and my man always makes fun of me because he see's how genuinely excited I get. Can't put into words how grateful I am to the incredible Polish ladies who work here and make all the delicious food and run everything. I crave pierogi every few months and they have a great variety. Meat or meat with something else in them like mushrooms or sauerkraut are most likely my favorite but I also love potato and cheese ones. They do offer other Polish food like beet soup, stuffed cabbage, schnitzels, sausages, and much more. And how about some Polish beer? They have it and it's the only beer I'll ever drink. Place is adorable with so much Polish decor. We came in recently and every table was full making me so happy that they've been around for a while and appear to be doing very well. I've actually been following them around since they were at the Indoor Swap Meet years ago. My Polish heart is full each time I come here. Dziękuję bardzo!!!
The Real Thing Simply the best Polish food served in a very comfortable and friendly environment. If you're unfamiliar with Polish food and want to sample the real thing give the Polish Village a visit.
Never thought I would be eating Polish food in Vegas when it's 100 degrees out. Very cute spot for lunch with authentic Polish food. We had the pickle soup and mushroom soup. Also bigos platter. All were great. Did not try the pierogies. If you are looking for Polish food in Vegas area this is the place.
Most of my reviews on Yelp are negative - so apologies for not being able to express well a positive review, as this restaurant truly deserves. This is a favorite in Vegas. I live in the southeast side of the valley but i will drive over for the food, service, and general ambience (though simple) of this place. 5 stars for each. Cold borsch and stuffed cabbage are excellent my favorites on hot Vegas days - and an easy recommendation. Check out their menu; if it suits your likes, then try this place. I don't think you will regret it.
I recently just got back from a trip to Krakow, Poland and was craving pierogies. After a quick Yelp, this shop popped up. We drove the 40 minutes and made it right before close. The ambiance is like old school and open. Almost like grandmas big kitchen We opted to do a mix of 7: here is what we tried. 1. Spinach and Feta: creamy with a good amount of feta. Delish combo 2. Potato and Onion: plain with lots of potato. 3. Potato, Onion, and Cheese: not a ton of cheese and kinda mixed with the Potato and Onion 4. Meat: No idea what meat but it was flavorful 5. Meat with Sauerkraut: I loved the Sauerkraut and would opt to get more with it 6. Chicken with Mushroom: not a heavy mushroom flavorful, but did not care for the chicken. 7. Potato, Jalapeño and Cheese: Not a huge jalapeño presence. Overall all the potato ones ended up just tasting like potato. Not too huge of a difference. Dessert: We got the strawberry and cream cheese pierogis. These were delish! Would get again Its hard to compare to Poland, but I'm still on the hunt. This place was good, just not blow your mind amazing.
Pierogi Village is a fantastic restaurant serving delicious pierogies and amazing soup! You'll find them in Summerlin on Rampart and Lake Mead near Harbor Island. The interior decor is beautiful and charming. They have adorable figurines, decorative artwork, vintage furnishing, portraits of Poland, and traditional Polish attire. Inside has limited seating, around seven tables. Menu offers pierogies, sausage, stuffed cabbage, soups, and Polish beer and wine. Order is placed with payment, and food is delivered to the table. Pickle soup ($7.99) is incredibly good! The soup has amazing flavor with a lovely tang from pickles and tender soft potatoes, very comforting and delicious! Pierogi Sample Plate (6 pieces, $11.50) is a great starter to choose and try three kinds of pierogies. I opted for Potato and Onion, Sauerkraut and Mushroom, Spinach and Feta, all nicely steamed, garnished, flavorful, and very delicious! Margaret offered two dips for the pierogies, dill with garlic and sour cream, both are good. Also Mashed Potatoes ($4.50) are creamy and Yum! Chef Violetta made a delightful moist Apple Pastry ($7.50), served with two scoops of vanilla ice cream, so wonderful! Service from Margaret is welcoming, friendly, and attentive. She's so kind and makes time to check-in with customers. Polish food is really good! Highly recommend!
This past Saturday, there was a pierogi festival in town, but after not getting any responses from the organizer until the day of regarding prices, etc, we opted to skip the festival, and give Pierogi Village a try! I'm so glad we decided to come here!!! Everything was lovely. We decided to order: The 10 pierogi sampler (5 different kinds of pierogis, 2 of each flavor): Potato and sauerkraut, potato and cheese, chicken and mushroom, meat, cheddar cheese. The Polish plate: 1 sausage, 6 pierogis (potato and onion), and a stuffed cabbage roll. Pickle Soup. The star of the day was the pickle soup. We'd made a similar soup at home a while back, but this was SO GOOD. I'd go back for just this soup time after time. The pierogis were all delicious. Light, pillowy, yummy fillings...they were super good. I think my favorites were the potato and onion, and the potato and cheese. The sausage was well seasoned, and beautifully cooked, with a really great cross hatch pattern. The stuffed cabbage roll was absolute perfection. We bought one to bring home to our roommate and she loved it as well. Service was kind and prompt, and friendly. the location is clean, open, and has a decent number of seats. We got there right at noon, but by about 1pm, people were starting to line up to wait, so its probably best to try to arrive right as they open, or a little past peak hours. Huge thank you to the staff of Pierogi Village for such a wonderful Saturday! We'll be back soon!!!!!
